| First Hello Kitty Hat |
Our Christmas together was delayed until we could get together in February, so between making it and their visit, I ended up selling it and crocheting her another.
I copied the idea of the hat from Crochet In Color, but didn't follow the actual pattern. For that I used double crochets instead of half doubles. I used the earflaps from the Owl hats on RepeatCrafterMe. I made my oval's for the eyes and nose and then stitched in the whiskers. I found a different tutorial I used for the ears since I wasn't keen on the rounded ears.
For the bow, I followed her pattern, but I don't think I had as many rows.
I really like this hat, the colours really stand out against the white and December really seemed to like it. She got a few compliments wearing it when we were in town shopping, so that made her happy.
